Aquasports is run by an experienced, fully-trained team who cover all aspects of camp life, from keeping us all well fed to making sure we are safe on the water. All the team have been fully CRB checked and are here to help and support campers throughout the week.

Damian Randell, Camp Leader

Damian has been on the team for over 8 years and his favourite sports are sailing, kayaking and mono-skiing. Away from Aquasports, Damian is Technical Delivery Authority at Vodafone and is a member of St. Aldate’s Church, Oxford.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Lasagne.


Naomi Randell, Camp Leader

Naomi has been a member of team for more than 15 years. Her favourite sports are wake-boarding and kayaking. She is an architect when not at camp and also attends St. Aldate's Church, Oxford.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Anything vegetarian and loves fruit.


Ray Carr, Member of the Leadership Team & Head of Skiing

Ray heads up the ski team at camp, and is a keen water-skier at camp and throughout the year. Ray is an early years teacher throughout the week and attends Chigwell Row Church, Essex.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Lives on cups of tea.


Hannah Carr, Member of the Leadership Team & Skiing Instructor

Hannah is a qualified skiing instructor and loves all forms of skiing. Hannah is head of the Physical Education department at Devenant School in Essex. She also attends Chigwell Row Church, Essex.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Freshly made soup for lunch.


Jo Nugent, Member of the Leadership Team

Jo looks after all the camper bookings and keeps in touch with both parents and campers alike. Her favourite sport is sunbathing and chatting with the campers. She is your ‘mum’ whilst at camp. Jo is a member of Wimbledon Vineyard and is a part-time teacher for the rest of the year.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Sausage plait.


Phil Knox, Member of the Leadership Team

Phil is the spiritual coordinator at camp and loves everything sports, but particularly likes the camp water-slide and the football. He works for Youth of Christ during the rest of the year. Phil is a member of St. Boniface Church in Quinton, Birmingham.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Thinks all the food is great, and particularly loves cooked breakfasts.


Helen East, Member of the Leadership Team

Helen does an amazing job of looking after the team during camp and throughout the year and loves windsurfing and swimming when at Aquasports. Helen is a member of staff at Southampton Vineyard when not at camp.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Sausage plait and crumble (but not together).


Andrea Ainsworth, Member of the Leadership Team

Andrea loves all aspects of camp and particularly loves water skiing. Andrea is a member of a Church in Manchester when not at camp.

Greg Ainsworth, Member of the Leadership Team

Greg loves being in the water. He just cannot stay out of it. Greg is a member of a Church in Manchester and is the head of sales when he is not at camp.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Any pudding!


Helen Boyer, Camp Chef

Helen and her team do a great job keeping us all fed at camp. She loves to swim and windsurf when she is not creating another feast for lunch or dinner. Helen is a member of Greyfriars Church, Reading.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Helen cooked it, so loves it all!


Trevor Kimm, Head of Maintenance

Trevor and his team keep camp running throughout the week. Without him there would be no hot water in the showers! Trevor loves sailing and driving the safety and ski boats. Trevor is a member of St. Andrew's Bramhall, Stockport.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Posh Nosh is Trevor’s favourite meal.


Fran Kimm, Camp Nurse

Fran and her team keep us all well during the week of camp and if we are ill will look after us all. Fran says she is too old for water sports – we disagree. She is a district nurse in Greater Manchester when not at camp and is a member of St. Andrew's Bramhall, Stockport.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Fran loves all the food, such as beef pie.


Dave Godwin, Bondi Coordinator and Head of Canoeing

Dave loves sailing and kayaking and will have a go at everything. Dave is a member of Christchurch Fullwood, Sheffield and is a teacher and qualified football referee.
Favourite meal at Aquasports: Crumble for pudding – he loves to sing the Crumble Song!
